These terms and conditions govern the use of the Metrixel platform. By creating an account or using our services, you accept these terms in their entirety.

1. Definitions

  • Platform: The Metrixel web application accessible from https://metrixel.com.
  • User: An individual or legal entity that creates an account on the platform.
  • Service: Creation, management, and analytics of tracked QR codes.
  • Plan: The subscription tier contracted (Starter, Professional, Enterprise).
  • QR: Each tracked QR code associated with a channel and campaign.

2. Service Description

Metrixel is a SaaS platform that allows you to:

  • Create and manage campaigns with tracked QR codes
  • Organize QR codes by distribution channels
  • Get detailed scan analytics (device, timing, geolocation)
  • Generate posters with integrated QR codes
  • Visualize data on maps and charts

3. Registration and Account

  • You must provide accurate and up-to-date information during registration.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
  • We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

4. Plans and Pricing

4.1 Subscriptions

Metrixel offers different subscription plans with varying active QR limits and monthly scan allowances. Updated pricing is available on our pricing page.

4.2 Billing

  • Payments are processed through Stripe on a monthly or annual basis depending on the plan chosen.
  • Prices are displayed in euros (EUR) and include applicable taxes.
  • Renewal is automatic at the end of each billing period.

4.3 Plan Changes

  • You can change your plan at any time from your account or the Stripe portal.
  • When downgrading, if you have more active QRs than allowed, you will need to select which ones to deactivate.

4.4 Cancellation

  • You can cancel your subscription at any time.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • No refunds are issued for partial periods.
  • After cancellation, your QR codes will stop working at the end of the period.

5. Acceptable Use

When using Metrixel, you agree to:

  • Not use the service for illegal or fraudulent purposes.
  • Not redirect QR codes to malicious, illegal, or harmful content.
  • Not attempt to access other users' accounts.
  • Not intentionally overload the platform's servers.
  • Not resell the service without prior authorization.
  • Not use the platform to distribute spam or unsolicited content.

6. QRs and Limits

  • Each plan has a limit on simultaneous active QRs and monthly scans.
  • You can freely activate and deactivate QRs within your limit.
  • Deactivated QRs do not record scans and display an informational page.
  • Historical data from deactivated QRs is preserved.
  • When the monthly scan limit is exceeded, QR codes continue to work but statistics are not recorded until the next billing period.

7. Intellectual Property

  • Metrixel and its technology are owned by its creators.
  • Data and content you upload to the platform remain your property.
  • You grant us a license to store and process your content for the purpose of providing the service.

8. Service Availability

  • We strive to keep the platform available 24/7 but do not guarantee 100% uptime.
  • We perform periodic maintenance that may cause brief interruptions.
  • We are not responsible for interruptions caused by external factors (providers, internet, etc.).

9. Limitation of Liability

  • Metrixel is offered "as is" without implied warranties of any kind.
  • We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
  • Our maximum liability is limited to the amount paid in the last 12 months.

10. Modifications

We may modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes with at least 30 days' notice by email. Continued use of the platform after changes implies acceptance of the new terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts.
